What’s cooking at Gaggenau? We’ll tell you what.
This company with a rich history in the metal crafts and kitchen appliances
is all about steel, great craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
So when we got to design the Gaggenau stand for Interieur 2010 –
we struck while the iron was hot.
Embedded in a sort of metal workshop we used many different kinds of steel,
with rusted or high gloss powdercoated surfaces.
The middle wall represents the Gaggenau blue,
surrounded by rusted corten-steel.
Products in the metal niches complement the two main features in the space:
the metal working table and the POS demonstration of a Gaggenau oven.
The rusted steel mesh wall was decorated with old rusted tools
from a traditional metal workshop.
