TV Limburg

TV Limburg moved from Mediahuis to their brand new office on the Corda Campus in Hasselt. That move meant more than just a new location, it marked a fresh start. After spending the last years in a shared office, this was the perfect opportunity to highlight their new identity. Welcome to the next chapter of TV Limburg!

TV Limburg rents eight industrial units, five are transformed into TV studios; the remaining three function as office space. The typical industrial character of the site, with its double ceiling height, mezzanine level and a rather basic technical infrastructure presented both a challenge and a source of inspiration. It forced us to think differently about layout and use of space.

For the design, we used three core principles. Inspired by TV Limburg's visual DNA, we took the lens as our starting point. This idea led to a spatial narrative built around framing, focus, and perspective. Sight lines and perspectives now create a playful yet functional layout.

In addition, we embraced the principle of on/off stage working. We played with contrasts and oppositions to create a dynamic in form language, material use, and spatial layout.
Open and enclosed zones alternate, allowing focus, dialogue, and spontaneous encounters to find their natural place.

Finally, we focused on re-cultivating culture. After years of shared offices, this was a chance to create a home base that truly felt like TV Limburg.A place where people feel welcome, where encounters happen naturally and where the atmosphere encourages dialogue and collaboration.
Hospitality was central to the design: warm materials, personal details, and open zones not only support daily work but also invite spontaneous moments in between. The office became more than just a functional workspace, it evolved into an expression of TV Limburg’s identity: open, warm & creative.
“Culture is brought back to life. José made her return as café madame and Kim Rayen, a beloved colleague who passed away, will forever have a voice in the conference room.”
